Come to the AVAS Annual Meeting to discuss the impact of the new ACGME intern work hours on the VA. The Lunch Session promises to be an exciting and interactive discussion about how these new regulations will impact the various VAs, and provide solutions that different VA surgical services will be adopting. The format of the Lunch Session is as follows:

Check-in/Checkout

The Hotel's check-in time is 3:00 pm. Room assignments prior to that time are on a "space availability" basis only. the hotel's checkout time is 12:00 noon. Any attendees staying in their rooms beyong the checkout time without the hotel's authorizatin will be charged for an additional room night at the best available rate. Late checkout is provided based on availability through authorization from the Front Desk.

Complimentary Airport Shuttle

Hyatt Regency Irvine provides a complimentary airport shuttle from the John Wayne Airport with pick up at 15 and 45 min after the hour. This continuous shuttle begins at 5:15 am on weekdays and 5:45 am on weekends. The last pick up is at 10:45 pm nightly. (Blue vans with white lettering that says Hyatt Regency Irvine).
